VISION Statement & Motto: "The Eternal Prescription"

Mission Statement 2007-2008
To equip and mobilize existing and new REMED'ians in progressing at an individually challenging pace through the spiritual concentric circles*; and provide an identified service in the local community which will internally transform each of us as we sacrificially use our varied gifts. Let's roll!

*People who are moving inward from the Community (brand new and living apart from Christ) to the Crowd (MAY attend a church or come to REMEDY sometimes, BUT they are choosing to hear about Christ) into the Congregation (committed to a Small Group within REMEDY and have a relationship with Christ and other Christians) and headed for the Committed (faithful to spiritual habits - growing in Christ) concentric circles.

All need to have direction and a plan to help them move along in their journey.

Eventually we will have some who become Core: those who are committed to discovering their giftedness and want to express it through ministering to others-they become orientated to doing good works and are serving because of Christ. This is one of our major goals in REMEDY. These "core" students are ideal for serving well within their own church!

Finally, we have a few who have a desire to be Servant-leaders (greek = doulos, Matthew 20:25-8). These chosen few incorporate the same characteristics of the "core" members, however, they have some gifting to lead others. At REMEDY we have high expectations for our 'servants' and it can be challenging. We see this as a stepping stone for leading a ministry within their church!

* Concentric circles concepts as illustrated by Doug Fields in his book Purpose Driven Youth Ministry.
